The other day I was sitting with two of my older (over 60) Fajina Ladies-NaTea and NaCandel. We were discussing running. This prompted NaTea to declare "I love to skip as a child, I would skip everywhere I went" to which NaCandel nodded and then responded "I love to skip, and I also liked to jump with a stick" This is when I stepped in and said, "You liked to jump with a stick? What is that?" She went on to explain how she would run, and use the stick to fly into the air over things, including rope set up for that purpose. I told her that is called "POLE VAULTING" while I giggled. She repeated the words a few times. My ladies like to skip and pole vault, who would of thought? :)
