Flores and Tikal, Guatemala

Since coming to Belize I have wanted to visit Tikal, Guatemala. I had the extreme pleasure to travel there with my Peace Corps friends; Alyson, Clifton, Emily and Emily's Brother, Alex. Enjoy the pictures of Flores and Tikal!

Sunrise tour. We hiked in the dark for almost an hour to the top of a temple. It was cloudy so we didn't see the sunrise but we watched and heard the jungle wake up.

The stairs we climbed in the dark.

View from on top of another temple

The most steep ladder. I climbed it but had a very hard time coming back down

As the sun was setting the moon was coming up! It is the fullest and closest it's been in 18 years.
