My fellow PCVs in Belize have applied for some grants and are trying to raise money. I thought I could help them out by passing on this information.
If you would like to donate to a good cause all three of these are worthy. They are all volunteers from my group and I have worked closely with them over the past year. They are also all in the Toledo District with me.
Grace-Women's Craft Coop is in a village right outside my town. The women are hoping to be able to sell their craft and help support their families.
Tracy-Community Playground project is a grant I assisted in writing. She is hoping to create a kid friendly space in her village of San Miguel.
Lilly-Internet Cafe and Library grant will allow the people of San Benito Poite to build a better building to house their solar Internet cafe.
